KCL (Kathie Clark Lawrence) began building Specialty Mascots and Walk Around Costumes in Hollywood, California in 1974 while working at Sid & Marty Kroft. She had her hands in everything from "H.R. Puf n' Stuf' to "The Banana Splitz." Clients began to roll in from Disney, Universal and Princess Cruises due to Kathie's reputation for invention and one-of-a-kind creations. Not only were her characters unique, but the re-invention of a new process was a necessary component. She created "Mr. Roboto," realistic animals, creatively designed animals and invented "Stretch Fur."

Over the next 35 years, KCL created hundreds of Sports Team Mascots, Commercial Characters, Movie Characters and Promotional Designs. No two have ever been the same and her talents continue to amaze and delight the world over. For specialty costumes, there is no one better.
